You can’t it is foam and will develop mold if wet. If you dry it or steam it it will burn (melt) and then you will have a worse mess. I keep mine inside of plastic zip covers to keep them from getting nasty. Just chunk it and chalk it up to experience.
try putting it in the dryer on AIR with a wash cloth lightly dipped in vinegar. — or try spraying with Febreeze or Oust.
