What is the point of boxsprings? How well do the tempurpedic mattresses work? I was told they dont need?

..box springs, only a piece of plywood or something, is that true? I have severe back injury and fibromyalgia and am in constant pain.

Only you can determine if memory foam satisfies your personal comfort preferences. Just like ANY mattress configuration, some praise it and others curse it.

box springs act as a foundation for your mattress.If you look at the adds for beds like sleep number etc,they reguire yoy to have a foundation which is priced seperatly from the mattress.
