How long does a bed usually have a lifespan of…say a Sealy Posturepedic bed?
I dont know how much to offer for it, and if i figure out the lifespan of the average bed or a sealy i could find out how much to offer. Any thoughts?

The warranty is usually for 15 years, but it’s recommended you buy a new one every 10 years.
i had mine for 10yrs before i bought a new one.
Inner springs usually have a lifespan of 10 yrs. On a gross point I have heard that in that 10 years the mattress can double its weight from dust and dead skin and dander accumulating on the inside of the mattress….I dont know how true that is but I have seen the inside of an old spring mattress and its nasty. We bought a tempur-pedic after shopping around for about 6 months. We tried a sleep number at the sleep number store in town, plus several brands of quality spring mattress, and while a few were comfortable none compaired to the tempur-pedic. You can also purchase a cover that the tempur pedic company makes which protects against dirt and spills and what not. I dont know what kind of sealy your looking at but the ones we looked at were close in price but not in comfort or warranty. Our bed has a 20 year warranty, the first 10 years is 100% and the second 10 is prorated…..so lets say something happens at 11 years…they pay 90%…80 for 12yrs and so on. I recomend the bed to anyone looking for a new bed….find a mattress store or furniture store near you that carries them so you can actually lay on it and see.
I would say 10 to 15 years
