How to clean a futon mattress that water leaked onto?
We have a futon mattress that got leaked on with water and it sat for awhile before we found out that water had been leaking on it. It smells a bit musty and has water stains on it. Is there anyway to clean this mattress without ruining it? Also, we life in the rainy NW so is there anyway to get it to dry out quickly since we don’t get the advantage of heat or alot of sunny days for outside airing.
The absolute best way is to rent a steam cleaner. the same thing happened to me and I had just bought it not too long before. I rented a cheap steam cleaner and it was like new again. Also while I had te cleaner I did a few rugs kids toys and other things to make it worth the money. Hope this helps.
