Can you help fix this VIRUS? Simmons Beautyrest ad on my Yahoo Mail page?
Do you know what I mean about the ads that appear at the top of our Yahoo Mail page. It may sound crazy but everytime the SIMMONS BEAUTYREST matress ad is at the top , my mail page freezes. I have used a couple of types of virus software and …….nothing. Please help and explain as though I’m a child ’cause I’m not a computer tech wiz. I’ll try anything. Can I contact you away from this forum , I currently have no 360 account set up??? ……John
Control Panel-Add/remove programs/remove macromedia flash. Reboot and go back to webpage to be prompted to reinstall or cancel installation and do not install it

If the ad acts differently than other ads in that its more animated or if you roll over it it expands it could have something to do with your graphics card or java program.Certain types of games causes my computer problems,sometimes it will freeze or slow down.If the problem continues you might want to have it checked out by a computer tech.Explain the problem and see if they can explain what it is or fix it.Maybe try an adware program,they differ from anti-virus or spyware programs.I hope this isn’t too confusing and that it helps.
it’s not a virus. it’s a pop-up ad. you may wanna install ad-aware or anti-spyware softwares that could take care of it.
