Which is better? Sealy Posturepedic Spring Free Mattress or Simmons Comforpedic mattress? and Why?
I’m needing a king-sized mattress but am totally confused by what’s available. I currently have a Comforpedic and love it but the new ones are SOOOOO expensive. Saw the Sealy Posturepedic Spring Free Mattress today and really liked it but know nothing about it. Does anyone out there have experience with either one?

pretty much the same as comfort wise, although sealy have the firmest spring unit. i you weigh less then 75kgs dont go for sealy.
you should get a over 10 years out of them anyway.,
You need to lay on the mattress in the shop for a good 20-30 mins each, depending if u sleep on ur side, or back thats the way you should test the bed out. if you do not feel any pain or discomfort within the first 30mins genrally speaking you wont duriing the night. changing your comfort level (mattress) it can take you up to 30 nights for your body to adjust to the new feel.
pillows are 20% of the way you sleep and 80% is the correct comfort level.
if you are a femaile and sleep on ur side then a low profile or contoured pillow will be great for you, males need a higher profile because they are broaader in the shoulders. the correct pillow needs to be the right depth between the mattress, contouring to ur shoulders and neck which will bring your neck and back in line while you sleep and will reduce neck pain and snoring.
I am no authority on Sealy and slightly familiar with Comforpedic. As a rule of thumb all natural latex rubber is a better product than memory foam, however memory foam is better than most everything else generally speaking. Go to a web site called http://www.whatsthebest-mattress.com/ This is one of the biggest mattress forums on the net.
Rules for buying mattresses: Get the best you can afford (you spend a third of your life on it) and always lie on it in the shop for several minutes. First impressions can change after a while and you can finish up getting the wrong one. I nearly bought one that was too soft – it was lovely at first but after a few minutes it began to feel too “soggy”. The shop man advised customers always to spend as much time as they want just lying on one or two. Ask to try different pillows as well, because it is astonishing how much difference the right one makes. We found we needed completely different ones from each other! Trying the mattresses for yourself is a much better guide to the right one for you than asking people for their experiences, as everyone is different and what suits one may not be best for another. Take your partner with you as you both will be sleeping on it and it needs to suit both of you.
