Woke up with my lower back throbbing – New, firm mattress. Did I get the wrong bed?
My chiropractor said to get a firmer mattress so I purchased a sealy posturepedic last night. Slept on it (firm) and woke up with my back sore. Could he have been wrong? I mainly have hips that go out of place as well as neck. I have a neck pillow where it looks like a valley (larger on one side than the other) recommended by my chiropractor.

Think of getting a new mattress and getting used to a new pair of shoes that you just threw on and walking in all day. Sometimes your back my need some time to adjust to the new found support that the old mattress probably lacked.
