Questions about buying futon mattress or full size regular mattress for futon frame?
My dad is willing to give me a futon frame, however i dont want the matress with it (using it as bed frame).
I was wondering if it was a bad idea to use a regular full size mattress for the futon frame?
Also, wondering, if they sell futon mattresses
I’m looking for a mattress similar to "sealy posturepedic plush"

The spacing between the slats of the futon frame should be approx. 2 inches or less if you are going to put a regular mattress on the futon frame.
I personally think futons are very uncomfortable. You will notice their is not a futon store on every corner. That is because people didn’t buy into them. However you can find mattess and furniture stores nearly everywhere.
