Question about a sleep number select comfort bed?
I got rid of my waterbed bladder a few years ago and just stuck an old coil spring mattress in the waterbed frame. Now that is hurting my back so I’m thinking about just buying the 2 air chambers and the pump and putting them in the same frame.
Will this work? I know I’m missing a bunch of foam pieces and select comforts actual full bed kinda has a different base. But overall what do you think or has anyone else tried it?

Part of the reason why the coil spring mattress is hurting you back is because it does not have the proper support underneath. If you do not use a box spring with the mattress, the mattress will not function properly. The water bed frame was not designed to support a coil spring mattress.
I would think that the same would be true for the Select Comfort air mattress.
Buy the Temper-pedic. It is a proven product and it has a lifetime warranty on the matress.
