What they do with returned from the trial period sleep number beds?
The select comfort and/or sleep number bed companies offer free 30 day in home trial of their mattresses. I’m curious as to what they do with the mattresses that are returned at the end of that trial period. Do they sell them at a discounted price? Outlet store? Clearance Center?

they give it to the next person for their 30 day free trail
Hi
According to the health regulations in my state.. they would have to remove all cloth, or fabric materials and all new materials would have to be used before resale…. The plastic, vinyl or rubber would have to be sanitized… My guess is that it may be cheaper for them to dispose of them, or donate them to a worthly cause..
I wonder how many of these beds are actually returned under the 30 days trial option…
They resell the mattresses at an outlet (30-50%) off. However there’s no store or website to go to.
What happens is that if you’ve been to the sleep number store and provided your mailing info, but you didn’t actually buy a mattress at the store, they’ll send you a mailer letting you know that certain models can be purcahsed directly from their “outlet” and provide a phone number.
I havn’t actually called them yet, but the brochure I recieved only offered the 3000 and 5000 series beds. Also, the outlet mattresses are non-refundable, although they do come with the same warranty as a new mattress.
