Anyone heard of Serta 'Simply Perfect' mattress (see description)?

I am trying to possibly purchase a used mattress off craigslist that this couple bought at the air force base store (so I’m guessing this particular brand is not available to the general public). Anyway they are telling me it is Serta ‘Simply Perfect’ NOT ‘Perfect Sleeper’. Also told me it is a posturepedic and a pillowtop. I have looked and looked and looked to find a pic of this bed/mattress (queen size by the way) for a pic on the internet, plus I want to read some reviews of this particular mattress on the internet. But I can’t find it? and FYI: They sent me a pic message over my cell phone and I seen with my own eyes this ‘Simply Perfect’ but just can’t find on the internet. So if anyone out there reading this has a site for me to look at, please let me know. Thanks

How long does it take to get used to a new mattress?

My girlfriend and I just bought a new bed from Big Lots. Its a Serta Courtland Perfect Sleeper. She loves it but every morning I wake up with my shoulders aching because I sleep on my side. She says that with a few weeks time, I’ll get used to it and won’t ache anymore. Is this true?

new mattress is hurting my back, could this be a transition period?

I had a somewhat firm twin mattress and a week ago I upgraded to a full serta perfect sleeper pillow top and a 2inch memory foam pad i bought from someone for only 300.

I’ve been waking up with neck aches, and some upper back pain, which is wierd because usually i experience lower back pain. Memory foam is supposed to help my spine align correctly, so im wondering if the pain is a result of a transition period?

pain aside, i seem to be sleeping better, and i’ve been able to remember having dreams which is a first!

Thanks for the help, i’m hoping this is a transitional pain?

Anyone have a serta perfect sleeper?

I am thinking about buying one and want to know what people think about it? (The one with foam edges) I sleep on my stomach and my husband is a back sleeper, so we dont want something that sags.

Could plastic on a mattress cause back pain?

I bought a brand new Serta Perfect Sleeper mattress and boxspring. I have the entire mattress and boxspring covered and zipped up in plastic because 3 of my children will sneak in bed with us in the middle of the night (we don’t usually hear them) and all three wet the bed. Those .00 mattress pads they give you with the mattress do not work against a 6, 5, or 3 year old peeing in the middle of the night so I had to resort to plastic. Anyway, whether the kids come into bed with us or not, I wake up constantly in the middle of the night in severe back pain from my upper back to my lower back. I feel like my body weighs 300 pounds and I don’t have the strength to roll over in bed. I’m sweaty all over and just completely in pain and discomfort. Could the plastic be causing this? If I sleep on the couch, I don’t wake up with back pain. I’m waking up at least 5 times in the middle of the night. What do you think it is? I just can’t imagine it being the mattress. My husband sleeps fine.

We NEED mattress recommendations..PLEASE OUR BACKS ARE KILLING US!?

OK, so 3 years ago my husband and I bought our first big furniture purchase (it was our wedding gift to ourselves). We bought a very large, expensive and beautiful new mattress with matching boxspring! We spent over a thousand dollars on this large piece of crap! 3 years later – we CANT WAIT to buy a new mattress! We wake up with HORRIBLE back pain and neck pain EVERY MORNING! We are only 28….. this type of pain should not be ours yet! Anyway… I am very afraid of spending a lot of money again on a new mattress and would like some recommendations about them. Has anyone heard of Bragada Crowne Mattress? Our other choices are Sleep innovatin novaform, Sealy true form, and serta perfect sleeper. If anyone could me a recommendation about their favorite bed that would be very helpful AND healing! how much is my mattress worth?

It is a serta perfect sleeper ocean moon pillow top mattress with box and standard hollywood frame. It is two years old and is in Absolute perfect condition. how much could i ask a friend for this mattress or how much could i ask for it on craigslist. What is average cost new?
