Anyone know the Rooms to Go Gresham Mattress alternative names?

I know most mattress companies re name mattresses per company to prevent shopping around. Does anyone know what similar mattress names would be for the Simmons Beautyrest Gresham mattress from Rooms To Go might be called? Thanks!

Which is the best mattress, Serta Sertapedics or Simmons Beautyrest?

I’ve been having a lot of lower back pain and have been sleeping on a firm mattress for years. I have been looking for a new mattress & have it narrowed down to these two. Which is better? Let me know what you think of your own mattress & what kind it is.

Mattress Buying HELP?

We had our old mattress for 7 years. Really needed to get new. Ended up going to a local mattress store. The rep directed us to the Sleep to Live mattresses. We did a diagnostic scan and then were told to pick from the 200-800 Series.

Tried all of them and thought the 400 (blue) was the best. Got it home, first night was wonderful. Finally no back pain and felt like a cloud. Second night and on and the cloud is NOT there. My back hurts more than it did with the old mattress.

Our budget is 00. and have the choice to go with a Foam, Latex or Innerspring with pillow top. Didnt really care for the Tempur Pedic. Dont care for the firm stiff feeling. Prefer soft/plus but with the much needed support.

Any recommendations on these:

Fluff my pillow?

I’m long overdue for a chiropractic appointment, but can’t afford it. So to avoid losing feeling in my arms, I bought a brand new Simmons beautyrest pillow. It did wonders and within 2 days, the numbness stopped. But now the pillow is flattened, and my problems are back. What’s the best way to fluff it back up to what it was like when I bought it? I thought about putting it in the dryer, is that a good idea? Any other ideas?
The new one slowly went flatter in a few weeks
WOW! !! I bought the one!
My dryer only has two settings, medium heat and regular heat. I assume neither is ‘air’. Maybe on the cool down stage?

Moving to Austin at the end of December (From Seattle). Good / bad timing ? Any Moving and Rental tips?

I plan to move to Austin at the end of December to attend UT the following Spring.

Yeah it is during the holiday season, because I am just planning to just drive there with my friend.
That is the only good time both of us (school holiday and what not). We will probably start to drive on the 26th or 27th after Christmas.

I plan to just drive there to save money on moving. I don’t own too much valuables. I believe it is cheaper to throw or donate away stuffs and buy new ones in Austin than moving them.
Among my most valuable stuffs are my laptop and a 0 simmons beauty rest mattress.

The beautyrest bed is my headache. But I believe it is still cheaper not to move it. =(

About the driving part : Google estimates 37 – 39 hours from Seattle to Austin depends on routes.
I plan to take the I-5 S route south. Because of the heavier Snow in the Interiors..
And I plan to skip the mountainous Southern Oregon and NorCAL I-5. I am gonna take the hwy 101 (beach road) instead to skip the snowy mountains there.

Is 3 days/2 nights for the trip a safe bet ??
Planning to drive 6-8 hrs per person per day / 12-16 hours a day total.
I have driven 8 hours before, but that was summer on my trip to Norcal.

Now about the Austin part:

I am staying in a hotel or guest house for few days and look for rental.

1) I am projecting 5-14 days in hotel, until I found and moved in to my apt.
Is this a good projection ?

2) It seems that most rentals in Austin uses leasing agents (even for regular apts) -> from what I see on craigslist.

Here in the NW, u go straight to the apt manager.. leasing agencies are only reserved for upscale condos or renting houses.

Why is that ? Is it a state / city law?
So when u pass by an apartment .. u like it.. then are you gonna see the remax sign for rent something like that there ?

3) Will the holiday season make it more difficult to hunt for a rental ? I mean because of the holidays and office closures..

Usually regular offices are open again on the 26-30 Dec (unlike school and univ). But who know things are little different (again) in Texas ?

Any tips about the trip, road safety, moving, renting etc ??
on my less than 2 years old BeautyRest ?…

Thanks

Getting credit for Simmon's mattress?

In the last 3 years, I have had two Simmons’ Beautyrest mattresses develop "potholes." The first one was inspected and deemed defective and replaced by the store where I purchased it. Now the second one has been deemed defective. I’m not a giant or anything (6’1", 185 lbs).
The store I got both of them from says that they will not give me my money back but will instead replace the mattress under warranty. I do not want another Simmons but that is all the store carries. They said if I want my money back I need to take it up with Simmons.
Does this make any sense? Has anyone been successful getting a refund from the manufacturer for their defective mattress?
The frame does have a center support and it has been checked along with the box spring for defects when they have inspected the mattresses. According to the store inspectors, everything looks fine.

How long does it take to get adjusted to a new mattress?

I just bought a Simmons Beautyrest plush mattress. I bought it because it felt like the right combination of firm and soft. I loved the floor model, and mine feels nice when you lay on it, but I am waking up with back pain, specifically in my lower back. I have been told that it takes a while to get used to a new mattress. Unfortunately I did not purchase a warranty or "sleep guarantee" so I don’t have the option of returning this mattress. Has anyone else had this problem and will it resolve itself once the bed is "broken in" so to speak? Thanks.

Where can I find my dream mattress?

Me and my fiance went to Santa Barbara about a year ago. The hotel we stayed in had the most unbelievably wonderful mattress I have ever slept on in my life! It was so comfy he actually ripped the tag off of the mattress so we wouldn’t forget the name and brand of it, haha! I told him pen and paper would have sufficed but he said that was more fun. Anyways, a year later and we really need a new bed. I have been looking for this mattress, it’s a Simmons Beautyrest Felicity Plush super pillow top. But I can’t find it anywhere, I’ve heard that they only sell these particular kind to hotels but that they also will change the name and sell it to the public also. It’s the same bed, just different name. So I wanted to ask, does anyone have one of these beds or know where I can get one??? Or know what the other name is for this bed if there even is another name for it???
Thanks a bunch!

Independent coils VS bonnel springs?????

So I just bought a mattress and slept on it the first night. It is a king size Simmons beautyrest Bamako luxury plush firm. It has the individually wrapped coils, the coil count is 1024. I’m a little concerned that it doesn’t seem as comfortable as I was hoping for. My question is this: I was under the impression that a higher coil count and the independent coils were always better than a bonnel system with fewer coils. Anybody think maybe I was misled and might be more comfortable on a traditional bonnel system.
