Question about a sleep number select comfort bed?

I got rid of my waterbed bladder a few years ago and just stuck an old coil spring mattress in the waterbed frame. Now that is hurting my back so I’m thinking about just buying the 2 air chambers and the pump and putting them in the same frame.

Will this work? I know I’m missing a bunch of foam pieces and select comforts actual full bed kinda has a different base. But overall what do you think or has anyone else tried it?

Can you put a Select Comfort Bed on any bed frame?

Or does it need a special “select comfort” support system?

Which is better the Sealy Posturepedic Right Touch OR the Sleep Number / Select comfort? And why?

I have heard pros and cons on the sleep number ? select comfort beds and some say they are Extremely hot as they are made from plastic and with the foam seperator between sides in the King size bed they are not as comfortable as they are touted. Im really wanting to hear input from people who OWN or have owned them so i can get a real feel for whether i should or Shouldnt go that route.

Does anyone know the phone number to the Select Comfort Outlet or discount center?

Select comfort offers a 30 day in home free trial. On those that are returned, they “refurbish” and sell at a fraction of the price. I rec’d a brochure in the mail with a phone # on it but acidentally threw it out – anyone have it?
